FAQs:
Questions about alterations?
Let us put you at ease with expert guidance and a personalized, seamless alterations experience.
-
Yes. All alterations are completed on-site by our professional seamstress and consultants, allowing for consistent care and a seamless experience from beginning to end.
-
We recommend beginning alterations about 3-4 months before your wedding date. This allows time for multiple fittings and any fine-tuning needed as your big day approaches. If your curious what that looks like for you check out the chart above!
-
Everybody is different! On average most brides require 2–3 fittings, depending on the gown and the level of customization needed. The duration of 3-4 months allows us to extend that amount if needed!
-
Please bring your wedding gown, the shoes you plan to wear on your wedding day (or something with the same height), and any undergarments or shapewear you intend to wear. These pieces help us ensure the most accurate fit and hem length.
-
That’s completely normal, and totally okay! Our timeline allows room for adjustments closer to your wedding day to ensure the best possible fit. We are here for you even after alterations if needed!
-
Absolutely. We’ll help you choose the bustle style that works best for your gown and show you how to use it during your fittings.
-
Alteration pricing varies based on the gown’s construction and the work required. A personalized estimate will be provided at your first fitting once our seamstress evaluates your dress.
-
Alterations payment is at your final alterations appointment when the gown is finished and fit to you! Our team will review pricing and payment details with you at your 2nd to last appointment to reassure your payment method before your final fitting!
